2019 DEMOS – Arthur John site
Sunday 26th May – ‘World Food in Wales’.
For these demos, we have asked our Chefs to create a dish with an international flavour but using ingredients that can be sourced locally! We cannot wait to see and taste what they make!
11.00 Andrew, Executive Chef, Marriott Cardiff will be making some delicious food from South Africa.
12.00 Lia, Lia’s kitchen will be making something using locally produced food, seasonal and Greek!
13.00 Myfanwy, Cowbridge Food Collective, will be making something Italian from ingredients mostly available from the Food Collective.
14.00 Clare, Penylan Preserves will be using some international flavoured jams and marmalades to make some delicious cocktails!
15.00 Oasis Cardiff will be doing Ready, Steady, Cook. Two amateur chefs will be taking on the challenge to cook some delicious food. Will red tomato kitchen win or will it be the Green pepper kitchen? You decide!
16.00 Goldie, Samosa Co will be showing you how to cook tasty Indian snacks at home.
Monday 27th May ‘TV and Radio Chefs’
For these demos we have asked Chefs who have graced our screens and radio waves to create a tasty dish and talk about their media accomplishments.
11.00 Kamran, Taste of Persia will be making something very tasty and discussing his radio work.
12.00 Katie Davies, from British Best Home Cook will be creating something gorgeous while talking about her time on the popular TV programme.
13.00 The delightful Sam and Shauna from Big Cook-Out will be serving up some meat based delights and talking about their new televison series.
14.00 The brilliant and supremely funny Rod Woodward will be competing against our superstar host Fran Donovan in a version of 'Can't cook, Won't cook'. With the help of two professionals chefs you can marvel at the new skills our amatuers will be learning. Mishaps and laughter guaranteed!
15.00 The brilliant Mike and Rebekah from St. Davids Hotel will be creating some beautiful patisserie and talking about their successful and incredible experience on Bake off: The Professionals.
