We want to encourage children to love and enjoy food and eating. All exhibitors (obv not the gin ones etc!) love to see children at their stalls and most encourage tasting samples. We also have several demos where children are involved and with an emphasis on cheaper produce, this should appeal to older children off to University.

This year the Fringe Festival at Old Hall Gardens has some great hands on sessions and talks on every aspect of food, for all ages as well as the chance to taste things they might not ordinarily.

Here you will also find face painting (kindly run by Fun Foundations Nursery), our usual feathered friends – Birds Of Prey, great live music, the History Chefs, craft tent, Simon Sparkles (Mon 9.30 at Vale Forge and then at 11.00 at Old Hall) plus lots of hot food and yummy treats for everyone!

Changing facilities and feeding rooms will be available at Vale Forge and Fringe sites.
