Cowbridge Activities

As well as all of the exhibitors on the Festival sites there are a lot of activities going on around Cowbridge. Many of our local businesses hold their own promotions so it is definitely worth having a good look along the length of the amazing historic high street!

New activities will be popping into the plan from now until the event weekend. Please keep an eye on our website and follow us on Twitter and Facebook to keep up to date with our exciting news as it comes in.

We also invite local businesses to offer discounts or added benefits to ticket holders – anything from a percentage off, glass of wine while browsing, free exercise class etc. A full list of these will be published nearer the time and are worth a look – it certainly makes the £5 ticket worth while!

If you are a Cowbridge Business with an idea for an activity or ticket holder benefit, please contact tracy@cowbridgefoodanddrink.org and we will happily add it to our list.

Past activities include:

The Vale of Glamorgan Inn real ale festival from Friday evening to Monday evening (or until they run out!). A great atmosphere night or day.

Cowbridge Leisure Centre  soft play for the younger ones needing to burn off their sugar high and for parents to have a quick rest before another round of Festival activities!

Samba band  playing along the high street and around the Festival sites as well as interactive workshops at Old Hall Gardens.

As we hear of more we will keep this page updated …

NB:    In 2019 Cowbridge Food Festival Ltd are responsible for activities and sites at the Arthur John & Vale Forge Car Parks, Old Hall Gardens,  and loos at Lloyds TSB Car Parks. All other activities are managed by businesses and NOT the Cowbridge Food and Drink Festival Organising Committee. 2018 sites are not quite confirmed.
